Each rejected their messenger, so My punishment was justified.
Holy Noble Quran Surah Sad Ayat 14

Or should We treat those who believe and do good like those who make mischief throughout the land? Or should We treat the righteous like the wicked?
Holy Noble Quran Surah Sad Ayat 28

Allah (SWT) respected Prophet ﷺ, who then spread that Manifestation of respect, ihtiraam, throughout the Ummah for all to have ihtiraam towards each other. Souls respect other souls. When we sit with each other we must have respect, but unfortunately, we still harbor disrespect for others in our hearts, which is not good and we must rid ourselves of that. We must respect everyone, young or old, because we don’t know when the young one speaks, perhaps Allah ﷻ inspired him to say something good and from it you learn adab. Sayyidina Abu Yazid al-Bistami (qaddas Allahu sirrahu) was asked, “Why do you respect the young and give them your attention? They are young, they don’t understand.” He said, “Because the young have fewer sins than me.” They asked, “Why do you respect the elderly?” He said, “Because they worshipped more than me.” So you must always show respect, that is important.

~ Shaykh Hisham Kabbani

May Allah (SWT) forgive our shortcomings and rid our hearts of disrespect and all other forms bad adab! May our hearts be made soft with love and respect towards all! Ameen!

Capitalism, Communism, Facism, Racism, Sufism, Terrorism which are all pyramid schemes

Real fasting is not doing bad things and abstaining from that...

Wudu (ablution) which like the swimiing fish in the sea and whales transports us to the presence of Allah (SWT)

And the mountains will be blown away entirely.
Then woe on that Day to the deniers
Those who amuse themselves with falsehood!
It is˺ the Day they will be fiercely shoved into the Fire of Hell.
˹They will be told,˺ “This is the Fire which you used to deny.
Is this magic, or do you not see?
Burn in it! It is the same whether you endure ˹it˺ patiently or not. You are only rewarded for what you used to do.”
Indeed, the righteous will be in Gardens and bliss
enjoying whatever their Lord will have granted them. And their Lord will have protected them from the torment of the Hellfire.
˹They will be told,˺ “Eat and drink happily for what you used to do.”
They will be reclining on thrones, ˹neatly˺ lined up ˹facing each other˺. And We will pair them to maidens with gorgeous eyes.
As for those who believe and whose descendants follow them in faith, We will elevate their descendants to their rank, never discounting anything ˹of the reward˺ of their deeds. Every person will reap only what they sowed.

Apocalypse - Coronavirus Pandemic
30 January 2020
*** Divine Punishment Placed Upon Humanity by God Almighty ***

In religious concepts an apocalypse usually discloses something very important that was hidden or provides "A vision of heavenly secrets that can make sense of earthly realities".

NEVER FORGET THIS EVENT, CORRECT BEHAVIOUR IMMEDIATELY, WE ARE CREATED AS SINNERS THUS WE ARE SINFUL AND IN ORDER TO BE SAVED WE MUST ASK GOD TO TAKE OUR SINS AWAY FROM US

(All Our Belongings Are Gifts from ALLAH (SWT) and Planet Earth! Thank You! This is how we experience Planet Earth!)

All realities we experience are created continously by Allah (SWT) all around us which is how we get to get close to our creator (God) and experience him\her and get judged by our actions and deeds.

AND THE EARTH TREMBLES & SHIVERS
AT WHAT WILL BEFALL THOSE WHO SIN AND DO EVIL

Mysticism is the practice of religious ecstasies (spiritual experiences during alternate states of consciousness), together with whatever ideologies, ethics, rites, myths, legends, and magic may be related to them. It may also refer to the attainment of insight in ultimate or hidden truths, and to human transformation supported by various practices and experiences. Broadly defined, mysticism can be found in all religious traditions, from indigenous religions and folk religions like shamanism, to organised religions like the Abrahamic faiths and Indian religions, and modern spirituality, New Age and New Religious Movements.

The Tanbur, the instrument which Shirzad performs is based on and is considered the most sacred instrument of Iran and while pictured on carved reliefs can be dated back to 3000 years ago is also considered by many to be the oldest lute of the world!

In Iran it is the choice of instrument for many Sufi's and as a result until recently was not even taught or performed to the non-Sufi community, the instrument is also traditionally usually performed only after certain sacred rituals have been performed such as kissing the instrument, performing ablution, etc. & as a result Shirzad is mostly known in the world music community as a drummer and not a string (lute) performer.

He is also a Daf (Sufi Frame Drum) performer and has performed alongside very well known world renowned Sufi ensembles such as AHURA and has also participated in many of number of Sufi ceremonies and gatherings of Zikr (Chanting) & Sema (Whirling) worldwide.

Shirzad has also recorded and released a number of Sufi albums which combine elements of Sufi chants, sacred Maqams and electronica which are officially released to the public & are available online on this page below.

While privileged to have been able to study this instrument in Iran, Shirzad also embarked on a spiritual journey as well and became familiar with many Sufi orders worldwide, such as Nimatollahi Order, Sufi Ruhaniat Order, Shahmaqsoudi Order, Muhiyedeen Order & even the Qalandariyun & was finally formerly officially initiated into the Naqshbandi Order & even participated in the Kumbh Mela festival and while there enjoyed the companionship of the Baul's of India which was one of the best experiences of his life!

Nafs (نَفْس) is an Arabic word occurring in the Quran, literally meaning "self", and has been translated as "psyche", "ego" or "soul".

The term is cognate with the Hebrew word nephesh, נֶפֶשׁ. In the Quran, the word nafs is used in both the individualistic (verse 2:48) and collective sense (verse 4:1), indicating that although humanity is united in possessing the positive qualities of a nafs, they are individually responsible for exercising the agencies of the "free will" that it provides them.

Much of the popular literature on nafs, however, is focused on the Sufi conceptions of the term. According to the Sufi philosophies, the nafs in its unrefined state is "the ego", which they consider to be the lowest dimension of a person's inward existence — his animal and Satanic nature.

In its primitive stage the nafs incites us to commit evil: this is the nafs as the lower self, the base instincts. Islam emphasizes the importance of fighting the inciting nafs in Quran:

In the eponymous Sura of the Quran, Yusuf says "Yet I claim not that my nafs was innocent: Verily the nafs incites to evil." -The Holy Quran (12:53)

Tazkiah (Arabic: تزكية‎) is an Arabic-Islamic term alluding to "tazkiyah al-nafs" meaning "sanctification" or "purification of the self". This refers to the process of transforming the nafs (carnal self or desires) from its deplorable state of self-centrality through various spiritual stages towards the level of purity and submission to the Will of Allah. Tazkiah originally meant pruning the plant – to remove what is harmful for its growth. When the term is applied to the human personality, it means to beautify it and to remove from it all evil traces and spiritual diseases that are obstacles in experiencing Allah.

Tazkiah, along with the related concepts of tarbiyah – self-development and talim – training and education, does not limit itself to the conscious learning process: it is rather the task of giving form to the act of righteous living itself: treating every moment of life with remembering one's position in front of Allah.

The following are the three principal stations of nafs or human consciousness:

The inciting nafs (an-nafs al-ʾammārah)

This stage is generally divided into the levels al nafs al-hayawaniyya and al nafs al-iblissiyya. Al nafs al-hayawaniyya ("the animal state") describes the self, which runs after material possessesion, sensual desires and animalistic pleasures. Al nafs al-iblissiyya is even lower than the animal state, because the self seeks to replace God in the love for itself.

The self-accusing nafs (an-nafs al-luwwāmah)

In Sura al-Qiyama the Quran mentions "the self-accusing nafs" -The Holy Quran (75:2) This is the stage where "the conscience is awakened and the self accuses one for listening to one’s ego. One repents and asks for forgiveness."

Here the nafs is inspired by one’s heart, sees the results of one’s actions, agrees with one's brain, sees one's weaknesses, and aspires to perfection.

The nafs at peace (an-nafs al-muṭmaʾinnah)

In Sura al-Fajr the Quran mentions "the nafs at peace" -The Holy Quran (89:27) This is the ideal stage of ego for Muslims. On this level one is firm in one’s faith and leaves bad manners behind. The soul becomes tranquil, at peace. At this stage, followers of Sufism have relieved themselves of all materialism and worldly problems and are satisfied with the will of God.

The Inspired Nafs (an-nafs al-mulhamah)

This stage comes between the second (The self-accusing Nafs ) and the third (the Nafs at peace) principal stages. It is the stage of action. On this level "One becomes more firm in listening to one’s conscience, but is not yet surrendered."

Once one have seen one's weaknesses and have set one's targets, this ego inspires one to do good. The Sufis say that it is important that whenever one think of good, one must immediately act upon it.

The pleased nafs (an-nafs ar-raḍīyyah)

This stage comes after the third principal stage. On this level "one is pleased with whatever comes from Allah and doesn’t live in the past or future, but in the moment." "One thinks always: ‘Ilahi Anta Maqsudi wa ridhaka matlubi’. One always sees oneself as weak and in need of Allah."

The pleasing nafs (an-nafs al-marḍīyyah)

On this level the two Ruhs in man "have made peace". "One is soft and tolerant with people and has good Akhlaq (Arabic: أخلاق), good manners."

The pure nafs (an-nafs aṣ-ṣāfīyyah)

On this level "one is dressed in the attributes of the Insan Kamil, the perfected man, who is completely surrendered and inspired by Allah." One is "in full agreement with the Will of Allah".

Full sequence of nafs development:

Therefore, the full sequence of the seven stages of the development of the nafs is as follows:

1- The inciting nafs (an-nafs al-ʾammārah)
2- The self-accusing nafs (an-nafs al-luwwāmah)
3- The inspired nafs (an-nafs al-mulhamah)
4- The nafs at peace (an-nafs al-muṭmaʾinnah)
5- The pleased nafs (an-nafs ar-raḍīyyah)
6- The pleasing nafs (an-nafs al-marḍīyyah)
7- The pure nafs (an-nafs aṣ-ṣāfīyyah)

Dervishes from the Jerrahi school of Sufism are encouraged to study a text describing these stages of nafs as a nested series of cities.

Characteristics of nafs:

In its primitive state the nafs has seven characteristics that must be overcome:[citation needed]

1- Pride (Takabbur)
2- Greed (Tamaa)
3- Jealousy (Hasad)
4- Lust (Shahwah)
5- Backbiting (Gheebah)

Qalandars (Arabic: قلندر), are wandering ascetic Sufi dervishes who may or may not be connected to a specific tariqat. Qalandar is a title given to a saint who is at a very high level of spirituality.

They are different from other saints and have very strong feelings of love for God's creation. Qalandars, among the saints, are those persons who may enjoy freedom from the ties and bounds of time and space.

Although it is important to state that Time and Space exist and are important, for example you are in this space and this specific time reading this article which may benefit you now but may not benefit you later on as you learn more.

Also everything Allah (swt) sends your way including knowledge is always a blessing.

It is claimed that all living things are given in their charge and command, every part of the universe may be at their disposal but these holy people are far above temptation, greed or lust. When people request them they feel duty-bound to listen and rectify the cause of miseries of people because they have been appointed by God for this very purpose.

Qalandars do not recognize good or bad, the writings of qalandars were not a mere celebration of libertinism, but antinomial practices of affirmation from negative action. The order was often viewed suspiciously by authorities and were considered by many to be heretics...

Sufi: A Brief Explanation

The use of music in various Sufi orders is common throughout the Islamic world... According to certain musical masters, it is necessary to follow a path of spiritual development to be able to truly absorb and perform Persian traditional music in its highest form. -Music and Song in Persia, Dr. Lloyd Miller

The Naqshbandi (Persian: نقشبندی‎‎) Sufi order or Naqshbandiyah (Arabic: نقشبندية‎, translit. Naqshbandīyah‎) was founded by Baha-ud-Din Naqshband Bukhari and traces its spiritual lineage to the Islamic prophet Muhammad, through Abu Bakr, the first Caliph and Muhammad's companion. Some Naqshbandi masters trace their lineage through Ali, His son-in-law and the fourth Caliph, in keeping with most other Sufis.

The most distinguished Naqshbandi Order is the way of the Companions of the Prophet and those who follow them. This Way consists of continuous worship in every action, both external and internal, with complete and perfect discipline according to the Sunnah of the Prophet.

Naqshbandiyya means to “tie the Naqsh very well.” The Naqsh is the perfect engraving of Allah’s Name in the heart of the murid. Behind the word “Naqshband” stand two ideas: naqsh which means “engraving” and suggests engraving the name of Allah in the heart, and bandwhich means “bond” and indicates the link between the individual and his Creator. This means that the Naqshbandi follower has to practice his prayers and obligations according to the Holy Qur’an and the Sunnah of the Prophet (s) and to keep the presence and love of Allah alive in his heart through a personal experience of the link between himself and his Lord.

The Prophet (s) said, “The ways to God are as numerous as the breaths of human beings.”, Just as there are many schools in Islam that teach tajweed (the art of reciting Quran), fiqh (Islamic jurisprudence), there are also schools that teach tazkiyya-tu-nafs or cleansing of the self. In the Islamic tradition, these schools or paths are called tariqat. The Naqshbandi, is one of these tariqats.

Shaykh Muhammad Hisham Kabbani is the world leader of the most distinguished Naqshbandi Order of Sufism. Shaykh Hisham Kabbani’s work wherever he goes is to spread the Sufi teachings of the brotherhood of mankind and the unity of belief in God that is present in all religions and spiritual paths. His efforts are directed at bringing the diverse spectrum of religions and spiritual paths into harmony and concord, in recognition of mankind’s responsibility as caretaker of this fragile planet and of one another.

Sheikh Ahmadou Bamba Mbacke (Wolof: Ahmadu Bamba Mbacke, Arabic: أحمد بن محمد بن حبيب الله‎ Aḥmad ibn Muḥammad ibn Ḥabīb Allāh, 1850–1927) also known as Khādimu 'al-Rasūl (خادِم الرسول) or "The Servant of the Messenger" and Serigne Touba or "Sheikh of Tuubaa", was a Sufi saint (Wali) and religious leader in Senegal and the founder of the large Mouride Brotherhood (the Muridiyya).

Cheikh Ahmadou Bamba's teachings emphasized the virtues of pacifism, hard work and good manners through what is commonly known as Jihādu nafs which emphasizes a personal struggle over "negative instincts." As an ascetic marabout who wrote tracts on meditation, rituals, work, and Quranic study, he is perhaps best known for his emphasis on work and industriousness.

Cheikh Ahmadou Bamba has only one surviving photograph, in which he wears a flowing white robe and his face is mostly covered by a scarf. This picture is venerated and reproduced in paintings on walls, buses, taxis, etc. all over Senegal. This photo was originally taken in 1913 by "French colonial authorities". As an art form and spiritual object, Bamba's photograph functions as more than a mere image, rather it is also "a living presence" through which his baraka flows

Samuel L. Lewis also known as Murshid Samuel Lewis and Sufi Ahmed Murad Chisti (October 18, 1896 – January 15, 1971) was an American mystic and horticultural scientist who founded what became the Sufi Ruhaniat International, a branch of the Chishtia Sufi lineage. After a lifetime of spiritual study with teachers East and West, primarily Inayat Khan and Nyogen Senzaki, Lewis was recognized simultaneously as a Zen master and Sufi murshid (senior teacher) by Eastern representatives of the two traditions.

He also co-founded the Christian mystical order called the Holy Order of Mans. His early interest in international seed exchange and organic agriculture also established him as one of the pioneers of green spirituality. His most enduring legacy may be the creation of the Dances of Universal Peace, an early interspiritual practice that has spread around the world in the 43 years since his passing.

Alan Wilson Watts (6 January 1915 – 16 November 1973) was a British-American philosopher who interpreted and popularised Eastern philosophy for a Western audience. Born in Chislehurst, England, he moved to the United States in 1938 and began Zen training in New York. Pursuing a career, he attended Seabury-Western Theological Seminary, where he received a master's degree in theology. Watts became an Episcopal priest in 1945, then left the ministry in 1950 and moved to California, where he joined the faculty of the American Academy of Asian Studies.

Watts gained a large following in the San Francisco Bay Area while working as a volunteer programmer at KPFA, a Pacifica Radio station in Berkeley. Watts wrote more than 25 books and articles on subjects important to Eastern and Western religion, introducing the then-burgeoning youth culture to The Way of Zen (1957), one of the first bestselling books on Buddhism. In Psychotherapy East and West (1961), Watts proposed that Buddhism could be thought of as a form of psychotherapy and not a religion. He considered Nature, Man and Woman (1958) to be, "from a literary point of view—the best book I have ever written." He also explored human consciousness in the essay "The New Alchemy" (1958) and in the book The Joyous Cosmology (1962).

Towards the end of his life, he divided his time between a houseboat in Sausalito and a cabin on Mount Tamalpais. According to the critic Erik Davis, his "writings and recorded talks still shimmer with a profound and galvanizing lucidity."

Thích Nhất Hạnh is a Vietnamese Buddhist monk and peace activist, founder of the Plum Village Tradition. A global community of mindfulness practice centers and monasteries offering retreats and teachings on engaged Buddhism and the art of mindful living.

Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh is a global spiritual leader, poet and peace activist, revered around the world for his pioneering teachings on mindfulness, global ethics and peace.

Ordained as monk aged 16 in Vietnam, Thich Nhat Hanh soon envisioned a kind of engaged Buddhism that could respond directly to the needs of society. He was a prominent teacher and social activist in his home country before finding himself exiled for calling for peace. In the West he played a key role in introducing mindfulness and created mindful communities (sanghas) around the world. His teachings have impacted politicians, business leaders, activists, teachers and countless others.

The term Kabbalah refers specifically to the form of Jewish mysticism that became widespread in the Middle Ages. Kabbalah wisdom comprises of a series of esoteric traditions dating back to biblical times and is still very much alive today. It deals with subjects such as the creation of the world, the nature of God, the ecstatic mystical experience, the coming messianic era, and the nature of the afterlife.

Law of Attraction

You are creative beings on this planet and are creating every aspect of your life. The Law of Attraction is a principle that outlines the way in which you create. The principles of the Law of Attraction have been called many things throughout the millennia, but the concept is still the same. Unfortunately or fortunately, depending on how you look at it, the Law of Attraction is working all the time. As such, you have been creating your entire life based on these principles. Most people do it unconsciously, however, once you become aware, you can do it consciously to heal and create a magnificent life for yourself.

Of course Prayer is the best way to attract what you need, so Pray, Give Thanks and Stay Positive!

Vahdat-e-Vojood (وحدت وجود) or Unity of the Existance
is a major principal of Sufism and Islam, as Rumi states:

I have put duality away, I have seen that the two worlds are one;
One I seek, One I know, One I see, One I call...
He is the first, He is the lest, He is the outward, He is the inward;
I know none other except "Ya Hu" [Yahweh] and "Ya man Hu" ["O He who is"].

But in reality there is no unity in anything unless Allah (swt) will it...

There is also Haqqiqat-ol-Hodood which means there are limits to everything and those limits are controlled by Allah (swt) for everything is meassured and everything has its own specific limits.

And the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. -Holy Bible 5:15

MORE AWLIYA WISDOM: THE SUN OF LOVE:

Every day, Allah Almighty makes the sun rise and says, “I give My servants light.” That is the sun we can see. There is also a spiritual sun that brightens our hearts and brings us closer to Him. Every day is a new day and every day a new sun of love rises. Allah wants our love. He is saying, “O People! Love and respect Me, as I made everything for you.” ~Mawlana Shaykh Nazim

It is a proven fact that everything we are and everything in the universe and on earth originated from stardust, and it continually floats through us even today. It directly connects us to the universe, rebuilding our bodies over and again over our lifetimes. As the famous qoute says: "We Are Stardust, Literally!"

I AM THE TRUTH! (Ana-Al-Haqq) - Hallaj

Of course towards the end he couldnt even save his own life and also ended up on the gallows!

“The most beautiful names belong to Allah: so call on Him by them.” (Surah Al-A'raf, 7:180)

Allah has described Himself in the Quran through His Names and Attributes. Muslims believe that studying these Names and Attributes is one of the most effective ways of strengthening one’s relationship with God. Each Name and Attribute nourishes a kind of consciousness and humility in man and their study leads one to constantly better their actions.

Muslims are asked to call upon God during their supplications by the most appropriate names that relate to what they are asking for. For example, if one is seeking forgiveness from God for a sin they have committed, they would call upon Him by His name “Al-Ghaffar,” meaning “The Ever Forgiving.” If one is asking for peace and tranquility in their life while experiencing a period of tension, they would call on God by His name “As-Salaam,” meaning “The Ultimate Source of Peace.”.

Prophet Muhammed (pbuh) counseled, “Glorify the name of your Lord, the most high” -Holy Quran (87.2). God has an unlimited variety of names. In this light the Beautiful Names of Allah (swt) have been likened to Hindu deities and thier qualities and attributes. Based on Murshid Samuel Lewis's teachings in Sufism, the Hindu faith and in fact all faiths are viewed in this light.

In the Hare Krishna Movement, one reaches enlightenment simply by listening to this mantra, you dont even have to know the meaning of what is being said.

The Gayatri Mantra is the most revered & powerful mantra in Hinduism.

Om (ohm)- Om is the sound or “vibration” of the universe. This sound is the most important of all; but in the context of chanting and mantras, it is meant destroy attachments to ego and establish generosity.

Ma (mah)- Removes the attachment to jealousy and establishes ethics.
Ni (nee)- Removes the attachment to desire and establishes patience.
Pad (pahd)- Removes the attachment to prejudice and establishes perseverance.
Me (meh)- Removes the attachment to possessiveness and establishes concentration.
Hum (hum)- Removes the attachment to hatred and establishes wisdom.

Time is also viewed in this light, Nothing can withstand Time, Allah is Time (dahr)

Allah is the Beginning and the End, the Inner and the Outter of Everything, and He is, of all things, Knowing.

Allah's (swt) Names and Attributes divide His 'Day' into many days. These days are the 'Days of Allah' or 'Yom-Allah'. The Names become manifest within the cosmos and each Name possesses days which are the time of the ruling property of that particular Name over the entity. Those deeply rooted in this knowledge possess knowledge of the time in which a specific Name has ruling control over them. They occupy themselves within this zaman until Allah (swt), the Essence, Eternal Time calls them to Himself. Eternal Time is dahr. Time within this physical realm is zaman. Space is also similiar to the above concept. The Quran says, God is the Light of the Heavens and the Earth... Light Upon Light... Allah guides to His Light whom He wills. (24:35) - There is much to contemplate here as it clearly describes an attribute of Allah (swt) and how he describes himself in the Holy Quran. Subhan'Allah!

All Praise Be to God (Subhan Allah)

In the name of God the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful, He created the heavens without pillars that you see and has cast into the earth firmly set mountains, lest it should shift with you, and dispersed therein from every creature. And We sent down rain from the sky and made grow therein [plants] of every noble kind. (Surah Luqman 31:10)

Similarities Between the Fabric of the Cosmos (Pictured Below) and the Human Brain Cell Nervous System (Pictured Above)!

There is no activity you may be engaged in ˹O Prophet˺ or portion of the Quran you may be reciting, nor any deed you ˹all˺ may be doing except that We are a Witness over you while doing it. Not ˹even˺ an atom’s weight is hidden from your Lord on earth or in heaven; nor anything smaller or larger than that, but is ˹written˺ in a perfect Record. (Surah Yunus 10:61)

What this may refer to is similiar to the butterfly effect, the idea that a butterfly's wings might create tiny changes in the atmosphere that may ultimately alter the path of a tornado or delay, accelerate or even prevent the occurrence of a tornado in another location. The idea that small causes (or even thoughts and intentions) would have large effects in general on the universe and that everything is witnessed by the omnipresence of Allah (swt) being present anywhere and everywhere could mean that this physical universe & everything within it itself is the perfect record & book mentioned in the above holy verse.

Islam Religion of Love

Tantric yoga practices are so adaptable to Sufis that they are mostly considered natural components of Sufism, according to many the Prophet of Islam was a Tantric Yogi and that he practiced Yoga, as proof of such many site that the Islamic prayer or (Salat\Namaz) uses ancient Yogic prostrating techniques & postures and use a prayer mat similiar to a yoga mat.

These bodily postures are very similar to the bodily postures one observes in Hindu Hatha Yoga, which is a branch of Tantric Yoga. Tantra also is viewed in Sufism as the Union of the Beloved and the Divine and as such this sacred union is the considered the most sacred of all forms of unions as it is based on love, in fact as such Islam is considered to be the religion of love.

Sufism cherishes the esoteric secret of woman, in Sufism, woman is the ultimate secret, for woman is the soul. Sufi definitions of the Divine Feminine, the various techniques used to experience it, the nature of the experiences, the ultimate intentions of the Islamic mystics & the Islamic techniques used by Sufi mystics such as the Qalandars that have been practicising these ancient Tantric rites throughout the ages is very well documented. These teachings of sacred sex can be found in Hadith and Sufi erotic poetry, which are plentiful.

In fact the Prophet of Islam Peace be Upon Him was the Perfect Lover!
Only by being the Perfect Lover (معشوق) Can you reach the Beloved (معبود).

There was a great Sufi Saint who was born in 1165 C.E. Besides Shi'a Muslims, numberless Sunni Ulemas called him 'The Greatest Sheikh' (al-Shaykh al-Akbar). His name was Muyiddin ibn al-'Arabi. He said, 'To know woman is to know oneself,' and 'Whoso knoweth his self, knoweth his Lord.' Ibn al-'Arabi wrote a collection of poems entitled The Tarjuman Al-Ashwaq. These are love poems that he composed after meeting the learned and beautiful Persian woman Nizam in Makkah. The poems are filled with images pointing to the Divine Feminine. In his book Fusus Al-Hikam, in the last chapter, he relates that man's supreme witnessing of Allah is in the form of the woman during the act of sexual union.

He writes, 'The contemplation of Allah in woman is the highest form of contemplation possible: As the Divine Reality is inaccessible in respect of the Essence, and there is contemplation only in a substance, the contemplation of God in women is the most intense and the most perfect; and the union which is the most intense (in the sensible order, which serves as support for this contemplation) is the act of sexual intercourse of which new life is formed & the human soul is born & God's little Angels are brought forth into this world. Allah as the Beloved in Sufi literature, the Ma'shuq, is always depicted with female iconography.

The Greatest Jihad is the Jihad of Love!

For without Love Nothing is Possible! Of course one must first understand this which is why The Jihad Akbar is Considered to be the Jihad for Knowledge however the real Knowledge and Secret is that Love is Everything! We want to be as kind and as gentle as possible! One must also be careful while performing this struggle, because the path of love is a diffucult and treacherous one!

There are many loves in this world, both good and bad. Illicit Loves, Legitimate Loves, Some Love to kill, Some Love to hurt other people and Some Love to Help and Be Kind to Others, we must be like that, so must first acknowledge that we know nothing of Love, make good intentions (niyat) and say Audhubillah Min al-Shaytan al Rajeem, Bism'Allah Rahman Rahim, Insha'Allah Allah (swt) provides the best Love(s) for us and that we would struggle to be the best Lover possible and be kind towards all of Allah (swt)'s creatures. This is Jihad for the sake of Allah (swt) (جهاد فی سبیل الله) which we must Love to do!

Insha'Allah, Ameen Ya Rabul Alameen!

The more I gaze
at Your face, the more
my eyes incline
toward Your vision
like one who dies of thirst
by the ocean shore,
lips to the wave,
thirstier and thirstier.
Seek not, find not—
except in this one case:
Until you find the Friend
you’ll never seek Him.
One who thirsts for this water can never be satisfied.
-Fakhruddin Iraqi

In fact historically ancient Indian vedic texts refer to Makkah as a place where The Mother Goddess was worshiped and the relationship with the Great Goddess moon is a well documented fact. The eminently feminine yoni form of the Black Stone's (Hajar Al-Aswad) setting is remarkable.

The following poem by Abu Sa‘ıd is characteristic and testifies to the level of assimilation through intermingling, and also serves as a basis for ongoing debate about the cross-influences between the two Islam and Tantric Hindu\Buddhist traditions.

Not until every mosque beneath the Sun
Lies ruined, will our holy work be done;
And never will true Muslim appear
Till faith and infidelity are one.

Along the same line of thinking, many Sufi poets on the path to enlightenment reject the distinctions between faith and infidelity, between piety and heresy, and between the Ka‘ba and the idol-temple, because to them, both have equal status and are one and the same.

Rumi writes:

In search of the truth, the wise man and the fool are the same.
In the path of love, the self and the stranger are the same.
The one who was given the wine of overjoyed connection,
In his doctrine, Ka‘ba and the idol-worshipping-temple (botkhaneh) are the same.

And with Him are the keys of the Unseen; no one knows but He. And He knows what is in the land and the sea. And not a leaf falls but He knows it... -Holy Qur’an, Surah al-An’am [6:59]

Animals & Plants are considered as gifts to humanity, praised for their beauty and help, so Islam has set kindness and mercy towards them as one of its founding bricks of values. Each animal & plant mentioned in the Quran has a role, regardless of size and species. Sometimes they are part of a story and sometimes they are the story, with timeless lessons to be learnt from them. The tiniest of creatures are paid homage to in the Quran, where in their hard work, contribution to Earth and mankind, and sometimes even in the plights they bring about, there is a wisdom behind their creation.

Do not bother the ant which is carrying a seed because it has a soul and it is happy with its sweet soul, Anyone who wants an ant to be bothered is cold-hearted and their inner has blackened. Don't hurt a weak person because one day you'll be weak in front of him as well, Make miserable people happy, remember the day that you were misarable (and you liked that someone made you happy) for the candle had no mercy on the butterfly and see how it got melted in front of all, If you bother someone who is weaker than you, (be aware that) there is always someone stronger than you...

Written in a Persian Poem by Saadi Shirazi (سعدی شیرازی)

Mercy and compassion towards other living beings, no matter their size and shape, is one of the foundations of Islam. So whether in the skies or in the seas, these animals & plants of all shapes and sizes are seen as blessed and their lives and stories are examples for mankind to observe, learn from and appreciate.

In this sixth surat (chapter) titled Al Anaam (The Cattle), Allah reminds humankind to regard animals and birds as “communities” that are similar to that of man. It’s a reminder to respect them as we would our own communities. They can have close-knit family units, they have needs and wants, their own language and traditions, and will, like all living things, return to the Almighty in the end.

“Indeed mankind, to his Lord, is ungrateful.” (Quran 100:1-6)

Animals, birds and insects are mentioned in the Quran for mankind to appreciate and learn from, such as the example above of the horses and their might and glory, and the below verses are about all the good that animals bring:

“And the grazing livestock He has created for you; in them is warmth and [numerous] benefits, and from them you eat.

“And for you in them is [the enjoyment of] beauty when you bring them in [for the evening] and when you send them out [to pasture].

“And they carry your loads to a land you could not have reached except with difficulty to yourselves. Indeed, your Lord is Kind and Merciful.

“And [He created] the horses, mules and donkeys for you to ride and [as] adornment. And He creates that which you do not know.” (Quran 16:5-8)

“And there is not a thing but glorifies His praise. But you understand not their glorification”
-[Al-Isra: 44]

The same can be said about Plants which can communicate and cooperate with each other, they drink and eat, they grow, get older and die. They gravitate towards God from darkness into the Light, help other beings (Insects, Animals, Birds & Humans), they are beautiful & majestic. We must be the Roses of our community!

We must be like plants, learn from them, be rooted deep in the ground reaching towards the heavens, breathing air and helping contribute to the world of creations of Allah (swt) during the course of our life. Like all creations and beings plants work hard to make this world a better place, serving Allah (swt) creatures.

They delight the senses, sight, sound, smell, taste, touch! They have communities and souls too and also move, reproduce & remind us of paradise.

The infinite blessings of Allah (swt) insures that no animals, insects or living creature ever be left without food or shelter! Subhan'Allah! Every animal receives that which it needs, no bird is ever left without food or a nest to sleep in, let alone God's miraculous crown of creations Humans! SubhanAllah! All praise be to Allah (swt)!

The same can be said about Minerals, such as water & dirt where insects and animals live. They eat and drink them, they cleanse the soul inside and outside. Our body consists of 60% water, about 71% of the Earth's surface is water-covered, and the oceans hold about 96.5 percent of all Earth's water.

Water also transforms and exists in the air as water vapor which then again transforms into rain and feeds the plants and animals, it moves in rivers and lakes, in icecaps and glaciers, in the ground as soil moisture and in aquifers, and even in you and your dog. We use it to clean ourselves (Wuzu) and rid ourselves of dirtiness.

Like all creatures minerals serve Allah (swt) and all of Allah (swt)'s creatures. Water quenches our thirst and gives us life. Although water can be placed in a container, water itself is a container and can carry many things within it, it can carry animals, submarines, bacteria, everything! Including energy! Water is aware and conscious, knows where it's going and not a drop of it falls anywhere without the will of Allah (swt)! SubhanAllah! All praise be to Allah (swt)!

Islam and other Faiths

A copy of the Ashtiname (آشتی نامه) of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh), which is a Peace-Treaty and charter written by Imam Ali (a) and ratified by Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) granting protection and other privileges to the followers of the Prophet Jesus the Nazarene (pbuh), given to the Christian monks of Saint Catherine's Monastery in Sinai. It is sealed with an imprint of the holy hand of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh). This document is used as a reference to all Muslims on how all other people of other religions and faiths should be treated by Muslims and what is acceptable behaviour and what is not.

English translation of the Ashtiname by Anton F. Haddad:

This is a letter which was issued by Mohammed, Ibn Abdullah, the Messenger, the Prophet, the Faithful, who is sent to all the people as a trust on the part of God to all His creatures, that they may have no plea against God hereafter. Verily God is Omnipotent, the Wise. This letter is directed to the embracers of Islam, as a covenant given to the followers of Jesus the Nazarene in the East and West, the far and near, the Arabs and foreigners, the known and the unknown.

This letter contains the oath given unto them, and he who disobeys that which is therein will be considered a disbeliever and a transgressor to that whereunto he is commanded. He will be regarded as one who has corrupted the oath of God, disbelieved His Testament, rejected His Authority, despised His Religion, and made himself deserving of His Curse, whether he is a Sultan or any other believer of Islam. Whenever Christian monks, devotees and pilgrims gather together, whether in a mountain or valley, or den, or frequented place, or plain, or church, or in houses of worship, verily we are [at the] back of them and shall protect them, and their properties and their morals, by Myself, by My Friends and by My Assistants, for they are of My Subjects and under My Protection.

I shall exempt them from that which may disturb them; of the burdens which are paid by others as an oath of allegiance. They must not give anything of their income but that which pleases them—they must not be offended, or disturbed, or coerced or compelled. Their judges should not be changed or prevented from accomplishing their offices, nor the monks disturbed in exercising their religious order, or the people of seclusion be stopped from dwelling in their cells.

No one is allowed to plunder these Christians, or destroy or spoil any of their churches, or houses of worship, or take any of the things contained within these houses and bring it to the houses of Islam. And he who takes away anything therefrom, will be one who has corrupted the oath of God, and, in truth, disobeyed His Messenger.

Jizya should not be put upon their judges, monks, and those whose occupation is the worship of God; nor is any other thing to be taken from them, whether it be a fine, a tax or any unjust right. Verily I shall keep their compact, wherever they may be, in the sea or on the land, in the East or West, in the North or South, for they are under My Protection and the testament of My Safety, against all things which they abhor.

No taxes or tithes should be received from those who devote themselves to the worship of God in the mountains, or from those who cultivate the Holy Lands. No one has the right to interfere with their affairs, or bring any action against them. Verily this is for aught else and not for them; rather, in the seasons of crops, they should be given a Kadah for each Ardab of wheat (about five bushels and a half) as provision for them, and no one has the right to say to them 'this is too much', or ask them to pay any tax.

As to those who possess properties, the wealthy and merchants, the poll-tax to be taken from them must not exceed twelve drachmas a head per year (i.e. about 200 modern day US dollars).

They shall not be imposed upon by anyone to undertake a journey, or to be forced to go to wars or to carry arms; for the Muslims have to fight for them. Do no dispute or argue with them, but deal according to the verse recorded in the Quran, to wit: ‘Do not dispute or argue with the People of the Book but in that which is best’ [29:46]. Thus they will live favored and protected from everything which may offend them by the Callers to religion (Islam), wherever they may be and in any place they may dwell.

Should any Christian woman be married to a Muslim, such marriage must not take place except after her consent, and she must not be prevented from going to her church for prayer. Their churches must be honored and they must not be withheld from building churches or repairing convents.

They must not be forced to carry arms or stones; but the Muslims must protect them and defend them against others. It is positively incumbent upon every one of the follower of Islam not to contradict or disobey this oath until the Day of Resurrection and the end of the world.

Holy Quran Surah Al-Baqarah (2:256) says; "There is no compulsion in Religion: truth stands out clear from error: whoever rejects evil and believes in Allah (one God) has grasped the most trustworthy hand hold, that never breaks and Allah hears and Knows all things."
